Eligibility under NDIS: As a university-qualified, registered, and accredited Nutritionist, I am designated under the NDIS pricing guide as an 'Other Professional' in Therapy Supports. encompasses professionals who deliver critical services not specifically categorized under other roles. This means our services are available to NDIS participants who require nutritional guidance as part of their journey to better health, provided these services align with the goals outlined in their NDIS plan.

Description: This line item allows NDIS participants to engage in services aimed at assessing nutritional needs, providing personalized dietary recommendations, and offering therapy or training to build skills and capacity for better health management. Core Supports:
Essential Services for Daily Living

Line Item: 01_741_0128_1_3 Assessment, Recommendation, Therapy, and/or Training - Other Professional
Service Type: Registered Accredited Nutritionist & Nutritional Therapist
Description: Participants who require essential support with their daily living that relates to nutrition can utilise this line item. It covers the assessment of nutritional needs, the development of individualised dietary recommendations, and the provision of nutrition therapy or training. This option is part of the Core Supports budget, making our nutritional therapy services accessible to a broader range of participants.

NDIS Plan and self Managed participants are invited to book a 30-minute initial consultation at no cost, via phone or Zoom. Discuss your health and nutrition goals directly with us, to ensure our services are the right fit for you. No self-referral needed; simply book your consultation to get started.

Refer a Participant

This form is for anyone looking to refer an NDIS participant for nutritional support services. By submitting a referral, you enable us to connect directly with the participant, initiating their path to personalized nutritional guidance. Participants, you can book your initial consultation directly without needing to self-refer.

Mental Health Nutrition Core Values

Always prioritize physical and emotional safety in all aspects of communication, coaching, and personalized advice. Nutrition considers both the physical health impacts of food as well as the mental and social health implications of dietary advice.

A trusting relationship build through the transparency of respect, shared information, and communication. Many people have experienced discrimination and stigma regarding composition, weight, health, and lifestyle in respect to their diet and eating habits and how it impacts their mental health. My role as a Nutritionist is to trust that individuals are the experts in their own body and experience.

Our work together is a collaborative process where you, the client, brings their personal experience, goals, and desires, and I as the Nutritionist bring their nutrition science and coaching skills, as well as knowledge gained through experience as a peer. My role is to work beside by clients seeking dietary advice and meal planning support, always prioritizing your expertise in your body and experience.

The role of the Nutritionist is to support the nutrition and body composition goals of the individual, not dictate a plan or method. The role of the nutritionist is to provide evidence based dietary advice and options to support those goals, always prioritizing the choice of the individual.

Empower individuals to have the food and nutrition knowledge and skills for lifelong dietary habits in line with their health and lifestyle goals. A key objective of nutrition coaching is to not need the services of a Nutritionist indefinitely, however the length of time needed is different for everyone and no particular timeframe is considered to be success of the objective.

Respect for the diversity of both individuals and their experiences. Culture, genetics, family, heritage, socio-economics, politics, gender, sex, and identity all play a role in individual nutritional needs. As do past experiences and trauma. This at all times must be honoured when making nutrition plans and giving nutrition advice.
